NICKOLA COMIC ART
Welcome!
First off - thank you for visiting my site! Whether we met in-person at one my my live events and you're looking for more information, or you've made your way onto this page strictly through the magic of the inter-webs, I sincerely appreciate you stopping by!
For the last 20 years, I have been slowly building my art skills with the dream of one day bringing my own characters and their stories out of the mists of my imagination and sharing them with the world!
When I first created this website, it was just supposed to serve as a portfolio of sorts. However, it has evolved into much more than that and now serves as the heart of my own small business. It still serves as my portfolio, but also as my webstore and as an outlet for sharing my journey of creating my first comic book.
This Front Cover shows my most recent works, but there's a lot more to see, so head on over to My Art Gallery. There, you'll find a nearly all of my finished art pieces from within the last several years. That said, no comic artist can complete a piece start to finish without learning, experimenting, and making a few (...or many) mistakes along the way. So, I've also included a ton of unfinished and experimental stuff you might find interesting.
Now, when it comes right down to it, art is a very personal thing. The right lines and color schemes can evoke deep emotional responses, and certain scenes can trigger fond memories or wishful desires. Other times, art is just cool and there's no rhyme or reason to it... Whether I've already drawn something that speaks to you, or you would like me to draw something new and special, I'm both humbled and I want to immortalize that!
First, head on over to my Comic Art Store - it basically functions as my business center. From there, you can browse (and purchase) any of the pieces I currently have in-stock. For whatever's not in-stock, I have also provided a Print Request Form where you can select from virtually everything I have in My Art Gallery. Finally, if you would like to commission something special, I have created something I like to call the The Commission Hub. This is where I explain everything about the commission process, my own art process, the different types of printing materials I use, and my pricing. When you're ready, I have also provided a Commission Request Form.
Last but not least - amidst all the business-related stuff (and while working a full-time job), I have embarked on a personal quest to create a full-blown comic book. There have been stories percolating in the back of my mind for a long time, and I am finally at point where I can make them come to life! But, it won't be easy, so as I explore the main characters and build their world, I'm going to need a sounding board - a place to share my personal thoughts, ask questions, and share things like sketches, concept art, and actual pages. For this, I created a special page called The Warrior's Journey.
Everyone visiting this site is able to view The Warrior's Journey. That said, I can only talk to the wall for so long, and feedback is extremely important to me. As such, I have made it so special Members of this site will have the ability to make comments on my ramblings which will provide that crucial feedback.
To become a Member, all you need to do is fill out your name, email address, and create your own password.
I don't charge anything for being a Member (it's literally just for feedback). Also, just to be clear - I won't do anything with any personal information you provide (see my Privacy Policy below). You might get an email from me every once in a while, but I promise I won't be annoying about it!
As a special Thank You to all Members, you will receive a perpetual 10% discount on all In-Stock items sold in My Comic Art Store!

Well... it's been quite the journey already just to bring my fledgling business into existence. That said, I'm always up for making improvements. So, if you encounter any technical issues, or have any suggestions or questions, feel free to shoot me a message.
Thank you so much for visiting, and I look forward to bringing you lots of cool stuff!
