The Commission Hub

So, you know you want me to draw something for you, but you're not exactly sure what you're looking for? Well, that's exactly why I've created this Commission Hub. Whether you're looking for a simple sketch, a fully colored masterpiece, a series of images that tell a story, or anything in between, I'm happy to be of service!
Now, let's face it - commissions are tricky business... These are unique pieces special to you, so there is just no "one-size fits all" way of going about it. If you already have an idea of what kind of artwork you would like me to draw for you - that's awesome! Let's get started!
If not, I've provided a few links below to help you get a sense of everything I do. I go through the process of how I develop my comic art from a rough idea to a finished piece of art that you can hold in your hands. I also go through the different levels of service I provide, along with the various materials I use to bring the art piece to completion. When you're ready, you can either scroll to the bottom of this page or Click Here to submit a Commission Request.
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to hearing from you and drawing something cool!

My Commission Process
Stage 1: Getting the Rough Idea
Do you already have a basic idea for a drawing, but aren't exactly sure how you want it to look? Well, this is the part where we work together come up with the concept for the design of the drawing. To get started, I'm going to need some information from you:
-
How many characters do you want?
-
Do you have a specific character(s) in mind?
-
Are they comic book character(s), manga/anime, or something more unique?
-
Feel free to send me any reference images that might help me narrow in on the design.
-
-
Do you want them set in a full scene, or is it more of a stand-alone piece where the focus is on just the character(s)?
-
What kind of drawing are you looking for?
-
Do you want me to simply sketch something for you?
-
Do you already have a sketch and want me to ink it and/or color it for you?
-
Or do you want me to do the whole thing from scratch - sketch it, ink it, and color it? (Most people want this option.)

How soon do you need the completed drawing?
Stage 2: The Design
I will send you 2-3 rough thumbnail sketches based on the information provided in Stage 1. At this point, we can work out any specific details of the drawing such as costume design or positioning of the character(s). Once we've settled on the final design of the drawing, we can progress to Stage 3.
Stage 3: The Proposal
Once the design is settled, I will send you a thumbnail sketch of the final design along with an official price quote for the project. This quote will include the cost of the work, the cost of the print, and an estimated timeline to complete the project. If you agree to the terms, I will require a 50% deposit of the total price to move forward to the finished artwork.
Please note, as soon as the deposit has been paid, there will be no further changes to the design of the drawing.
Stage 4: The Finished Art and Shipping
Once the artwork has been completed, I will send you a notification email with a digital copy of the image. I will also send you a link requesting payment of the remaining 50% of the total project price. As soon as I receive that final payment, I will ship the finished artwork to the address you provide (or if you prefer, I can hand deliver it to you, in a public location, if you live locally).
And that's it!
I apologize to all my friends around the world, but I am currently only shipping products within the continental United States. If you would like a digital copy of my art, send me a message and I will get back to you shortly.
My way of doing things is to be open and honest about what I do and how I do it. This whole business thing is still new to me, so with that in mind, I will be making periodic updates to help streamline not only the commission process, but also this website. Should you encounter any technical issues, or have any suggestions for improvements, I'd love to hear from you!
