The Warrior

The Warrior is an original character that I came up with way back in 2004 at the beginning of my art journey! Originally, he was just an amalgam of a bunch of my favorite characters, and still kind of is.

While still in high school, I actually wrote a trilogy of short stories about him (which are terrible, by the way...), and I even started drawing a comic (way before I knew what I was doing - see my Comic Graveyard section). Back then, his origin story went along the lines of: after the death of his parents, he discovers an ancient mystical book that gives him incredible abilities which he uses to fight crime. It was a bit of a trope, but I was 16 years old, so what can ya do...? Anyway, I have periodically revisited this character through the years, mostly as a way to assess my drawing progress.

However, more recently, I have decided to bring this character to the forefront. I have completely rebooted The Warrior from the ground, up, and my plan is to create a full-blown comic book series. To see the progress so far, check out The Warrior's Journey in the main menu!
