The Warrior

The Warrior is an original character that I came up with way back at the beginning my my art journey in 2004! Originally, he was essentially an amalgam of a bunch of my favorite characters, and still kind of is.

This guy's gone through many iterations over the years. I actually wrote a trilogy of short stories about him while I was in high school, and even started drawing a comic at that time (way before I knew what I was doing - see my Comic Graveyard section). Back then, his origin story went along the lines of: he discovers an ancient mystical book, after the death of his parents, that gives him incredible abilities that he uses to fight crime. It was a bit of a trope, but I was 16 years old when I came up with it, so what can ya do...? Anyway, I have periodically revisited this character through the years as a way to assess my drawing progress.

However, more recently, I have decided to bring this character to the forefront of my comic art journey. I have completely rebooted The Warrior from the ground, up, and my plan is to create a full-blown comic book.
